Some trends just click-whether they're nostalgic, effortlessly chic, or just plain fun. These are the ones I can't get enough of right now!
These trends feel just fuel me. The femininity, individuality, pastel colors, patterns, and textures speak to me. Fashion should always feel like an extension of who you are, who you want to embody, or just things that call out to you! and right now these do just that.
Structure & Sculpted - Engage readers right away
There’s something so striking about structured skirts. Especially when created without the bulk of hoops or a carefully layered piece that holds its shape. It adds just the right amount of drama while still feeling wearable. The balance of volume and tailoring makes it feel both historical and modern at the same time.
Cat Toe Heels - Explain more
Pointed toes are timeless, but cat-toe heels give them a fresh, sculptural update. They have this sleek yet slightly quirky energy that makes any outfit feel more intentional. It’s the kind of detail that feels understated but makes all the difference.
Ruffles & Lace - Their Delicacy is Timeless
Lace and ruffles are styles that never truly go out of fashion—they simply evolve. Right now, they’re having a moment in the most ethereal and elegant way. Whether in soft pastels or classic black, they elevate any outfit with a vintage-meets-modern feel. I love seeing them styled in unexpected ways—layered, paired with sporty pieces, or even incorporated into accessories.
Pill Box Hats - A Nod to the Past
here’s something effortlessly elegant about this hat shape—it instantly elevates an outfit while adding structure and sophistication. It channels vintage glamour yet remains versatile enough for modern styling. Whether paired with a sleek coat or a whimsical outfit, it’s a statement piece that never feels overdone.
Polka Dots - A Classic
Polka dots are so back, but in a way that feels fresh, not retro. I personally love mini polka dot patterns (like the one pictured) for the subtle yet playful touch they add to any outfit. There’s something about them that feels both fun and polished at the same time
Funky & Fun - Tights that Make the Look
Tights are no longer an afterthought—they're the main star. Whether they're sheer, bold, lace, patterned, or brightly colored, they add the perfect touch to spice up any outfit. I especially love when they’re layered with the most unexpected pieces—it feels so nostalgic, like a mix of Junie B. Jones and Fancy Nancy energy.
Rococo Revival - Decadent & Dreamy
I’ve mentioned this in a previous post, but I can’t help but absolutely love the Rococo era. Despite the rigid social standards of the time, I’m drawn to the ruffles, maximalism, florals, large skirts, and soft pastels. In fact, many of the trends I’ve mentioned so far are inspired by this era.
Babydoll Night Gowns - Sleep Tight
The perfect mix of effortless and romantic. Whether in soft satins, delicate trims, airy chiffons, they have a barely there quality that makes them perfect for layering or wearing alone. I love how they balance sweetness with a little edge. One person that has been styling these perfectly is Sabrina Carpenter. The dresses blend the playful, sweet, and bold femininity she showcases in her music.
Sporty Chic - Sport & Skater Sneakers
Onitsuka tigers, DC, Pumas, Vans, Adidas, etc. These sneakers are making their way back into everyday fashion, as seen with the massive fandom surrounding Adidas Sambas. I love how they are styled with such unexpected pieces. Sneakers and lace skirts, blazers, bows- they create such a cool factor.
Women in Ties - A Trend I Knew Would Happen
Slight flex here—I predicted years ago that women accessorizing with ties would take off. I’ll save the full breakdown for another post, but I love the boldness and self-assurance it takes to blur gender lines and wear something so traditionally masculine. It’s effortlessly cool and sharp. My favorite way to style it? With ultra-feminine pieces like a ruffled maxi skirt, a fitted vest, and layers of jewelry.
Micro Shorts - The Smaller, The Better
Micro shorts are the definition of bold, especially when paired with a matching set. They feel both playful and daring, yet still wearable when styled right. Whether worn with an oversized blazer, a coordinating top, or sporty sneakers, they bring back the best of 2000s energy.
Admire, Appreciate, and Choose What’s Truly You
These are just garments, silhouettes, and styles that I find appealing. As lovers of fashion, we don’t have to like everything—and we definitely don’t have to buy everything we like. Fashion is an art form. You wouldn’t walk into a gallery and purchase every painting that catches your eye; you admire it, maybe snap a photo, and move on. Sometimes, appreciating fashion visually is enough. But if you truly love something—enough to wear it even when it’s out of trend—then go for it.
So next time you find yourself tempted by a trend, ask yourself: Do I love this, or do I just love the moment? Fashion is personal, and what you choose to wear should feel like you, not just a fleeting trend.
